Jisc and Adobe showcase the power of AI and creativity in education at Digifest 2026

The event will explore how digital fluency empowers staff and students with the skills, confidence and AI literacy they need to navigate change.

Adobe will return as the strategic partner for Digifest 2026, reinforcing a shared vision to bring together bold ideas and practical solutions to help the sector thrive in our ever-evolving digital world.

Digifest, taking place at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Birmingham on 10–11 March and online, brings together the UK’s learning and teaching communities to spark fresh thinking and explore actionable strategies for shaping an ethical, inclusive and digitally fluent education. This year’s conversations will focus on conscious futures, re-envisioning the student experience and navigating a digital world with confidence and critical literacy.

Across the two days, Adobe will feature in keynote and community sessions, showcase its industry-leading creativity and AI tools, and offer hands-on opportunities for delegates to explore platforms, experiment with generative AI, and showcase their own digital innovation.

A partnership supporting sector-wide transformation

Jisc’s partnership with Adobe reflects a joint commitment to empowering institutions with tools and strategies that foster creativity, collaboration and innovation. Through the transforming together programme, now in its second year, Jisc and Adobe are supporting institutions that subscribe to the Jisc-Adobe ETLA agreement and embed digital fluency into teaching and learning. These institutions are preparing staff and students for a future shaped by AI and digital transformation.

This year’s cohort is focused on projects that enhance curriculum co-design, authentic assessment, and employability through Adobe Express and generative AI tools. These initiatives aim to build confidence, creativity, and critical literacy, enabling institutions to lead change rather than simply respond to it.

Here’s what delegates can expect to experience with Adobe at this year’s event:

  • Keynote: Advancing AI and creative skills: transforming the future of UK education
Adobe’s keynote will tackle a pressing question in education: How do we prepare learners for a world where AI is the backdrop? The session will focus on pairing AI literacy with human-powered creative innovation to shape the future of learning
  • Interactive workshops: two practical sessions, led by Adobe experts, on embedding creativity and digital fluency into curriculum design, with hands-on guidance for using Adobe Express and generative AI tools
  • Creative space stand: a dedicated space to try out Adobe’s powerful apps and see what you can create

Digifest will take place in person at the International Conference Centre (ICC) Birmingham, as well as online, on 10-11 March 2026.
