Our Bristol office is at One Castlepark opposite the Marriott Hotel Bristol City Centre, near Cabot Circus shopping centre.
Visitors will be greeted at the building reception where you will be required to sign in. The staff will then direct you to the 2nd floor which can be accessed via the stairwell or lifts. On arriving at the entrance to Jisc please ring the doorbell where a member of staff will greet you.

Directions to our Bristol Office
By train
Temple Meads is the nearest railway station. One Castlepark is around a 20 minute walk from the station. You may find it helpful to follow signs to Cabot Circus.
Alternatively, take the 8/9 bus from outside the station and get off just before the main Old Market roundabout, opposite the Bristol Evening Post building.
From here walk up towards the roundabout and bear left. One Castlepark is the red brick building on your left.
By coach
The coach station is on Marlborough Street in the City Centre. One Castlepark is around a 20 minute walk from the station. You may find it helpful to follow signs to Cabot Circus.
By air
Bristol International Airport is about 8 miles south of Bristol City Centre.
A bus service, the Airport Flyer Express, runs from the airport to Temple Meads station on a fairly regular basis.
If you are flying into London, Heathrow airport has a direct National Express Coach Service to Bristol. Alternatively you can take the Heathrow Airport Express train to London Paddington and change there for a train to Bristol.
By car
One Castlepark is very near the M32 entrance to Bristol. Cabot Circus car park is easily accessible from the M32 and is around a 5 minute walk away, while the Marriott NCP is just opposite our office.

Directions to our Harwell Office
By train
Our Harwell office is six miles south-west of Didcot Parkway station, providing connections with London (Paddington), Birmingham, West of England and South Wales. Taxis are readily available at Didcot Parkway station, and the transfer time is approximately 15 minutes.
There is a high-frequency bus service with free Wi-Fi between Didcot Parkway station and Harwell Campus, which is a 2 minute walk from our office. It takes a little longer than a taxi but is cheaper and is a good alternative in rush hour if taxis are unavailable.

By air
We are one hour's car journey from London's Heathrow Airport. Follow the M4 motorway westwards to interchange 13 then head northwards on the A34
By car
Our Harwell office lies on the A4185 mid-way between Oxford and Newbury.
Approach from the north and south using the A34. If southbound, leave the A34 at the A4130 (Didcot and Wantage) exit, take the fourth exit signed to Wantage (the A4185). If northbound, leave the A34 at the A4185 (Harwell Oxford site and Wantage).
On arrival, limited visitor parking is available in front of the building. If there is no parking available at our office, there is additional parking available at the Celestial car park on Thomson Avenue, which is around an eight minute walk away.
The building has two entrances - north and south. When approaching the building from the Strand the north entrance is reached first, the south entrance is 20 metres further on, towards the river.
Jisc meeting rooms are located on the ground floor of the north side (externally indicated by a Brettenham House sign).
Visitors should be informed prior to their visit to go to the building reception north side, where they will be issued with a visitor's pass and directed to the meeting rooms.
General enquiries and operations are located on the ground floor of the south side.
Jisc Collections is located on the first floor of the south side.
Directions to our London Office
By train
The nearest tube stations within walking distance are Temple (Circle and District - five minutes); Embankment (Bakerloo, Northern, Circle and District) - five minutes; Waterloo (Northern, Bakerloo, Jubilee, Waterloo and City - ten minutes); Covent Garden.
Mainline railway stations within walking distance are Charing Cross, Waterloo and Waterloo East.
From Charing Cross, turn right outside the station and walk east along The Strand (five mins), turn right into Lancaster Place (at the Tesco Express on the corner) and walk towards Waterloo Bridge. Brettenham House is the building on your right.
From either Waterloo stations, follow signs to Waterloo Bridge, cross the river, using Waterloo Bridge, walk on the left (west) side of the bridge, Brettenham House is the first building on your left when you have crossed the river.
By coach
The coach station is at London Victoria. Change onto the Circle and District line to Embankment. Follow signs to Charing Cross and The Strand. See by train directions above for details.
By air
From Heathrow Airport take the Heathrow Airport Express train to London Paddington. Change onto the Bakerloo line to Charing Cross and walk from there. From Gatwick Airport take the Gatwick Express train to London Victoria. Change onto the Circle and District line to Embankment, and walk from there.

Churchgate House is located on Oxford Street, opposite The Palace Theatre.
On arrival visitors should head directly to the stairwell or lift and make their way to the 6th floor.
On arriving at the Jisc entrance visitors should press the buzzer, where a member of staff will greet you.
Directions to our Manchester Office
By train
Machester Piccadilly is around a 5-10 minute walk to Churchgate house. Exit via the escalators and head west on Fairfield Street. Continue onto Whitworth street until you reach the Palace theatre. Turn right onto Oxford street and Churchgate House is around 30 yards on your left.
Alternatively, take a connecting train to Manchester Oxford Road. Exit the station onto Oxford Street with the Palace theatre on your left. Churchgate House is approximately 30 yards on your left.
By coach
Manchester coach station is on Chorlton Street in the city centre. Churchgate House is around a five minute walk from the station.
Head onto Portland street and walk away from Piccadilly Gardens. Turn left onto Oxford Street and Churchgate House is around 50 yards on your right.
By air
Manchester airport is approximately 8 miles south of our offices with regular bus services to the city centre.
By car
Churchgate House is a few minutes from the A57(M). Manchester Chepstow Street NCP car park is at the side of our offices.

Acknowledgment of applications and change requests
We will acknowledge receipt of your application within four working hours.
If you have not heard from us after this time, your request may not have been received - in that instance please telephone or email us.
Processing of applications
We will seek to set up the service within eight working days of receiving your application, subject to the detailed technical co-operation of other parties, including yourselves.
Configuration and information changes
We will seek to make any changes you request to the configuration of your service within two working days, again subject to the detailed technical co-operation of other parties, including yourselves.
