Strengthen your networks at Digifest 2024

Jisc’s new community hub will facilitate greater in-person collaboration at this year’s event.

Jisc’s showcase digital teaching, learning and research event, Digifest, will take place on 12-13 March 2024 at the International Conference Centre (ICC) Birmingham, and online.

New for 2024 is the Jisc community hub, a dedicated collaborative space providing interactive workshops and community meet-ups, there’s even a drop-in session for those attending Digifest for the first time to help navigate the event and meet likeminded peers.

As well as a full schedule of activity, attendees can also visit the Jisc community hub to network with community champions past and present and find out how to get involved in one of the many communities of practice.

Book your ticket to Digifest 2024 today to avoid disappointment. Registration for in-person attendees closes at 9am on Monday 5 March 2024, or at 10am on Monday 11 March for online bookings.

Natasha Veenendaal, head of community engagement at Jisc, said:

“Our communities of practice are an integral part of the work we do here at Jisc to support the UK in its ambition to be a world leader in technology for education, research and innovation.

“From accessibility and assistive technology to extended reality (XR) and digital storytelling, our community groups cover a wide range of themes, fueled by community leaders and members whose passion never ceases to impress me.

“I’m excited to introduce our new community hub to this year’s in-person Digifest attendees, and I look forward to connecting with you all as we collectively imagine the future of tertiary education and research together.”

Digifest 2024 is a CPD-accredited event. Attendees can contribute their learning time towards individual continuing professional development goals. Jisc members and customers receive two free in-person tickets per organisation.
