Digifest 2026: programme now live
This year’s event will explore bold ideas and practical solutions to help shape a future that’s ethical, inclusive and people-centred.
Digifest 2026 will take place on 10-11 March at the ICC Birmingham and online. With more than 60 inspiring sessions across three bold themes - empowering people in the age of complexity, re-envisioning the educational experience and creating responsible and ethical futures - the event will uncover fresh ideas, spark meaningful conversations and chart a visionary path forward for the future of education.
Highlights from the programme so far include:
- The Digital Inclusion Action Plan: what does it mean for the tertiary education sector? - a keynote looking at the UK Government’s bold agenda to tackle digital poverty, improve access to devices and data, and close the digital skills gap
- Developing digital skills through peer-support and recognition: a panel session for those interested in taking a fresh approach to building staff digital skills
- Work smarter: spotting AI’s role in everyday practice – an engaging workshop inviting educators and institutional leaders to take a people-first view of AI integration
- Airships XR: a form of “deep play”: a breakout session exploring the use of storytelling and immersive content delivery in aviation engineering
- From books to bytes: how libraries drive digital confidence and academic success – a session filled with practical ideas to turn libraries into hubs for innovation and collaboration
