Connect More 2026: supporting educators to thrive through digital change
Join two half‑days of practical, practitioner‑led sessions offering ideas you can use straight away in your practice.
The Connect More 2026 programme is now live, offering two mornings of practical, sector led learning sessions designed to help educators build digital confidence, strengthen their practice and create better experiences for every learner. Free to join as part of your Jisc membership, the event brings together practitioners who are working through rapid digital transformation and want to use technology with purpose.
Taking place online on 12 and 13 May, this year’s programme reflects the realities of a sector navigating rapid digital change while staying focused on what matters: people, pedagogy and purposeful innovation.
Across the event, sessions are shaped around three themes that speak directly to the digital challenges and opportunities facing educators today.
Educators empowering themselves amid disruption
Explore practical approaches to managing workload, using AI responsibly and making informed decisions with data. From ethical automation in marking and feedback to using learning analytics to anticipate student needs, these sessions offer grounded strategies that help educators feel more in control of digital change rather than overwhelmed by it.
Enhancing educational experiences for all
Showcasing innovative pedagogy and collaborative design approaches that put students at the centre, these sessions demonstrate how thoughtful use of digital tools can transform learning environments and support diverse cohorts. Highlights include work on future ready library spaces, community led CPD, and real-world examples of how colleges are rethinking their learning resource centres to boost engagement.
Ethical and inclusive digital education practice
Reflecting on the social impact of technology and choices that promote equity and wellbeing, educators will discuss practical strategies to embedded sustainable and inclusive digital practice in teaching and learning.
From responsible approaches to generative AI to cocreation methods that rebalance power between staff and students, these sessions offer clear guidance for educators who want to use technology in ways that are fair, transparent and future-focused.
A programme shaped by the sector
Connect More 2026 brings together practitioners who are leading change in their own contexts and are ready to share what works. Every session is designed to offer something practical that delegates can take back to their everyday work. Registration is free and open now.
