About
2020 has been a year like no other and is taking a particular toll on the wellbeing and mental health of both staff and learners.
The rapid transition to online teaching and learning and digital delivery will remain central to the student experience throughout 2021. However, while there have been successes in the rapid shift to online teaching and learning, and the digital upskilling of staff, it is recognised the stress that has been placed on staff to continue to deliver a great student experience.
This roundtable invites you to listen and share examples of effective practice in your organisation regarding how peers have approached wellbeing from the perspective of:
- Digital leadership: do you have a well-being policy? What wellbeing tools are made available/promoted by leadership?
- Learning and training: what well-being programmes have you introduced for learners?
- Staff: how do you use data to monitor a learner's wellbeing?
This isn't a webinar or presentation from Jisc, rather a facilitated conversation and an opportunity for you to discuss and learn how you can adopt effective practice from peers across further education.
Find out more about how Jisc can support you to enhance the wellbeing of staff and students.
Who should attend
Further education staff involved in teaching and learning, curriculum design, learning resource centres, data management and wellbeing roles.
