Digital for Wales
For the first time, Jisc has launched a manifesto for Wales to help the next Welsh Government build a digitally inclusive, resilient and forward-looking tertiary and research landscape. We believe that digital transformation is essential for driving social, economic, and educational progress unlocking opportunity and transforming Wales’s future.
"This manifesto outlines how we will partner Welsh Government to ensure the tertiary education and research sector thrives in a rapidly changing technological landscape. Jisc has established a long-standing strategic partnership with Government and tertiary education and research in Wales. This includes successfully supporting the Digital 2030 ambitions while also providing expert insight on digital transformation and adoption during a period of transition to a new tertiary model for funding and regulation. As a vital strategic partner, working with Government we will ensure Wales will be a nation where digital technology strengthens its education, language, culture, economy, and communities. A digital future rooted in fairness, innovation, and sustainability, ensuring that every learner in Wales can participate fully and confidently in the digital world."
