Developing student employability
Exploring the role of technology in supporting the development and communication of student employability skills
Ended 31 May 2015100%
The role of the UK higher education (HE), further education (FE) and skills sectors in developing student employability is clear. Technology can be an enabler to the development of these skills, but are institutions making best use of it?
About the project
This study is exploring the employability opportunities offered by institutions, and the role of technology in maximising the effectiveness of those opportunities.
It will showcase examples of effective practice, present a ‘vision’ for technology supported practice, highlight the current issues and challenges faced in achieving that vision, and make recommendations on how Jisc can better support institutions to meet that vision.
Read our report which outlines the role of technology in developing student employability. If you’re short on time, read our quick read report, HE case studies and FE and skills case studies or look at our toolkit for usable guidance to aid planning for developing student employability.
