Accelerate your career

With a Jisc apprenticeship, you’ll have the opportunity to work towards a qualification while gaining invaluable on-the-job experience.  You’ll spend between two and four years studying towards a qualification from level 3 (equivalent to A-level) to level 6 (equivalent to a degree). All while gaining hands-on experience.

We want to hear from you, no matter what your journey has been like up until this point. This is an opportunity to increase your knowledge and gain the practical skills and experience needed to propel your career forward.

At Jisc, we celebrate diversity and know that it is critical to our success. We work hard to make sure we’re inclusive and welcome all applicants who share our values and want to join us in our mission to improve lives through digital transformation.

Who can apply?

There are different entry requirements depending on the apprenticeship level:

  • To apply for a Level 3 apprenticeship, you must have a GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
  • For Levels 4 and above, you must also have two A Levels.

There may be more specific requirements for certain schemes. Some apprenticeships may require you to have studied a specific subject at school or college, for example. Any additional requirements like this will be made clear on the apprenticeship adverts when the schemes open.
