About the community

Being better informed about “international” really matters to the UK higher education, research, and further education sectors – particularly when it comes to making better use of data, digital and technology.

That’s where this group comes in. Our international community group is a relaxed place for our members to discuss anything international across data, digital, and technology. By sharing expertise, we can address some of the big international challenges:

  • Expanding your transnational education (TNE) programmes into new and challenging markets
  • Connecting with suppliers and commercial partners in other countries
  • Secure connectivity for international research
  • Considering issues that might affect the digital experience of international and TNE students
  • Travelling with tech in a risk-aware world
  • Making the most of your licensing agreements
  • Managing costs and delivering a return on international investment for your institution
  • Collaborating with other institutions on global partnerships

We’ll also use this space to keep you updated on developments at Jisc and how we are working with our international partners to support our members and customers.
