In this briefing we will explore what organisations need to know, the potential implications for the sector, and the considerations for planning and budgeting.

We'll also provide an update on the Jisc-Microsoft EES agreement, including anticipated timescales and next steps. The current agreement is due to run until Thursday 31 December 2026.

This event forms part of the ongoing work of Jisc and UCISA to help the sector understand and respond to changes in Microsoft licensing, services and commercial arrangements. It will be an opportunity to hear from our licensing specialists, understand the latest developments, consider what they could mean for your organisation, and ask questions.

We recommend that universities, colleges and schools send a representative to attend the briefing. The briefing is open to all education and research institutions. Please note that attendance is limited to institution representatives and is not open to resellers, vendors or other third-party organisations.
