About checkin+

Checkin+ is a learning analytics module that provides your organisation with:

  • Attendance monitoring
  • Timetable integration
  • UK Tier 4 reporting

It connects directly to the data from your timetabling system, producing meaningful insights so you can proactively monitor student attendance, attainment and achievement, whether learning online or on campus.

You will know who should be in your sessions instantly with the functionality to better understand student attendance measures including: not required, arrived late, left early and notified absence.

Both students and academic staff can easily visualise checkin+ attendance data via the staff dashboard or study goal student app. This effective, electronic register management system will help you to improve your student experience and performance metrics.

As it is hardware-free, remote attendance capture is now possible. In the context of coronavirus (COVID-19), this allows you to see how your students are engaging with their studies wherever they are and to support them more effectively.

Benefits of checkin+

  • Seamlessly integrate your attendance monitoring with your timetabling system to produce definitive timetable sessions
  • Confidently report your UKVI Tier 4 international student visa monitoring with multiple sources of engagement activity
  • RAG (red/amber/green) rate student activity at module and course level to easily highlight better support intervention opportunities
  • Map students in off-campus locations (eg work placements and those learning remotely during the coronavirus pandemic)
  • Automate daily actionable reports

This out-of-the-box software application is easy to install as an addition to the core learning analytics service. The team can support you to configure your checkin+ module integration as part of the delivery service.
