In this session, participants explore the practical capabilities of Google Gemini available within a Google Workspace for Education environment. Through practical demonstrations, participants explore different ways of working with Gemini, including working with information, files and different types of content. The session considers where Gemini could add value within professional practice, alongside its limitations and the importance of reviewing AI-generated outputs.
This is the fourth session in module two. The curriculum is structured into three modules designed for teaching and learning staff:
Module one: understanding AI in tertiary education for teaching and learning
Module two: essential AI skills for teaching and learning
Module three: ethical and responsible use of AI for teaching and learning
For further information, and to find out about the sessions in each module, read our AI literacy training blog.
