About

In this session, participants learn practical techniques for working effectively with AI and critically evaluating its outputs. Explore how providing clear instructions and context, working conversationally and asking follow-up questions can help shape AI-generated responses. Develop a critical approach to checking outputs and deciding whether they are appropriate to use.

This is the third session in module one. The curriculum is structured into three modules designed for teaching and learning staff:

  • Module one: understanding AI in tertiary education for teaching and learning
  • Module two: essential AI skills for teaching and learning
  • Module three: ethical and responsible use of AI for teaching and learning
