About

In this training session we will consider the practical use of AI in daily tasks, focusing on productivity-enhancing tools and generating prompts - using popular GenAI tools such as Microsoft copilot & Google Gemini.

This session is aimed at professional services staff who want to develop and apply essential AI skills to improve efficiency and streamline day-to-day tasks, while exploring how AI can support productivity in practical and responsible ways.

What to expect

  • We will look at how we can you use AI in everyday work. We will then explore how we can use Microsoft Copilot and Google Gemini
  • This is an opportunity to share how you have been using AI to improve productivity
  • Delegates will look at how AI is assisting with our creativity

  • Jisc members: inclusive to membership
  • Non member, not-for-profit: £50 + VAT

This webinar is free to anyone from a Jisc member organisation (UK further education colleges, specialist colleges or higher education institutions). You will therefore need to register with your institution's email address.

Non member, not-for-profit organisations, for example Multi Academy Trusts, schools and Independent HE, must register and pay to attend this session.

Session preparation and setup

Upon successful registration before the webinar you'll receive your joining instructions email from training@jisc.ac.uk. Please fully read the instructions to ensure ease of access to the live online room.

  • The webinar will be run in Teams, with live automated captioning and transcription
  • You'll also need a headset, or headphones and a microphone
  • Please sign in using your full name
  • Participants’ microphones will be muted on entry. If you would like to speak, please use the raise hand tool or the chat pane to indicate this
  • We'll be taking questions during the webinar, which you can submit in the chat pane
