About
In this session, participants explore practical ways to use AI to support everyday teaching and learning tasks. The session focuses on using AI to support lesson and session planning, create and adapt learning resources and activities. Participants will also consider how to critically review AI-generated materials and apply professional judgement before using them.
This is the first session in module two. The curriculum is structured into three modules designed for teaching and learning staff:
- Module one: understanding AI in tertiary education for teaching and learning
- Module two: essential AI skills for teaching and learning
- Module three: ethical and responsible use of AI for teaching and learning

This session is aimed at teaching and learning staff who want to develop and apply essential AI skills in their day-to-day practice. It is particularly relevant for those involved in curriculum design, lesson planning, content creation, and who are looking to enhance their teaching with practical, responsible uses of AI.

This webinar is free to anyone from a Jisc member organisation (UK further education colleges, specialist colleges or higher education institutions). You will therefore need to register with your institution's email address.
Non member, not-for-profit organisations, for example multi academy trusts, schools and Independent HE, must register and pay to attend this session.
