AI continues to challenge established approaches to assessment and academic integrity across further and higher education. As student and learner use of AI evolves, so too do questions about assessment design, authenticity and how institutions respond to potential misuse.

This session explores current research and sector guidance, alongside emerging insights from our AI in marking and feedback pilot. We'll consider what the evidence is telling us and what this could mean for assessment practice across FE and HE.

This is second session in module three. The curriculum is structured into three modules designed for teaching and learning staff:

Module one: understanding AI in tertiary education for teaching and learning
Module two: essential AI skills for teaching and learning
Module three: ethical and responsible use of AI for teaching and learning

For further information, and to find out about the sessions in each module, read our AI literacy training blog.
