This session is designed for staff who already have some experience of using generative AI and want to develop more effective ways of working with it. It explores what to do when AI-generated responses are too generic, inaccurate, incomplete or do not meet expectations.
Participants explore how to identify what may have gone wrong and use feedback, follow-up questions and iterative approaches to improve AI-generated outputs. The session also considers the limitations of further refinement and the importance of human judgement when deciding whether an output is suitable to use or a different approach is needed.
