I have responsibility to ensure outstanding service for Jisc members and communities in the north of England.
I have 14 years' experience working in the education sector. I worked as a service manager based at Jisc Netskills and was responsible for business development, consultancy and support activities.
Demonstrating value and ensuring member satisfaction are principal in my approach. I am fascinated by processes of change and the pivotal role digital technologies play in the ever-changing educational landscape. I believe in a people, rather than tech, first approach to achieving positive change.
Before Netskills I was a research associate at Newcastle University for four years, working on a resource enhancement project that made a vast corpus of Tyneside speech recordings available online.
