I lead the further education (FE) and skills team within our digital futures team, so have responsibility for setting the vision for developing new products and services for the FE and skills sector and overseeing the projects we are developing to achieve that vision.
I also programme manage FE and skills activity across Jisc, ensuring we deliver a programme of activity that meets the needs of our members and is realistically achievable.
I currently programme manage our Area Review support and oversee the FE portfolio of projects including: learning analytics for FE, college analytics, Scotland data and apprenticeship activity.
I've been immersed in the skills world since joining the LSC in 2005 initially working on developing adult skills to take advantage of local development opportunities and developing and delivering a model to support major redundancies.
I left the LSC in 2010 to move into local enterprise partnership-focused activity working to influence the local FE offer to meet the current and future needs of local employers, developing labour market information reporting models and delivering collaborative cross sector partnership projects.
In 2013 I became head of skills for the West of England LEP with responsibility for developing and implementing skills policy.
Analogue apprenticeships are dead. Long live digital
