Role

I am responsible for the establishment, development and overall leadership of Jisc’s security operations centre including its strategic direction.

I lead a number of work streams in Jisc's security programme to develop new, and enhance existing, cyber security products and services to help protect the Janet Network and to help institutions protect their networks.

Background

I have been working in educational technology for more than 15 years, developing policy and strategy on a national level in the areas of information security and access and identity management.

I have experience of leading strategic programmes across the educational landscape in the UK, including developing Jisc’s annual cyber security posture survey, and have an MBA in cyber security.
