Subject specialist in digital practice (digital leaders programme)


My role focuses on the delivery and evolving design of the digital leaders programme. This involves playing an active role in the delivery of the vision for change workshops, leading and facilitating hands-on events (both physical and online) which are designed to help senior leadership teams envisage and prepare for digitally transformed futures.


I have previously worked for the Association for Learning Technology as the membership and professional development manager where I led a portfolio of work relating to membership services and had responsibility for the development and management of the CMALT Accreditation Framework. I have worked in UK higher education since the late 1990's working across all areas of the student and staff experience and held roles at Swansea University, University of South Wales and the Open University.

I am a fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) and Certified Online Learning Facilitator (COLF). I hold a master's in Online and Distance Education (MAODE), MSc Business Psychology, BSc (Hons) Psychology, PG Cert Management. I have been studying for a part time PhD in E Research and Technology Enhanced Learning with Lancaster University since 2017. My research area relates to collaborative learning, social support and the wellbeing of educators in social network sites.
