Our statement on leaving X/Twitter
From Wednesday 21 August 2024 we will no longer be active on X (formerly known as Twitter).
In light of recent events that are incompatible with our values as an organisation, and in consultation with our stakeholders, staff and communities we have decided that from Wednesday 21 August 2024 we will no longer be active on X.
To prevent misuse of our identity, we will not shut down the profiles, but simply cease all activity. This applies to our main Jisc profile, as well as other Jisc-owned profiles, including:
- Graduate Outcomes (@Grad_Outcomes)
- HESA (@UKHESA)
- Prospects (@Prospects)
- Prospects Luminate (LuminateLMI)
- OpenAthens (@OpenAthens)
The Jisc major incidents account (@JiscMI) will continue to operate as a broadcast outlet for any major incidents.
