This guide and accompanying workshops were commissioned by Lawrie Phipps, who originated the pilot work, and further developed by Patrick Bellis in partnership with Helen Clare and Will Allen.

Our users and innovation programme nurtured a number of ideas related to next generation technologies and web 2.0 through its highly active community of practice, comprising more than 50 institutions. A number of projects and partnerships arising from that community were funded to bring the best of these ideas to fruition, alongside related projects working in personal e-administration.

Scenario planning as a programme and project management tool became an integral part of the programme, and these resources have been developed as a result of users and innovation pioneering both within Jisc and further afield.
