About the community

The UK XR community has been developed to help further education and skills and higher education members across the UK to work collaboratively, sharing knowledge and best practice around augmented, mixed and virtual reality.

The community aims to inspire and provide advice and guidance on how institutions can maximise the potential of immersive experiences and technologies to improve the student experience.

The shared knowledge and practices from the community will also assist institutions in making informed and sustainable decisions on the development or deployment of immersive technology and content.

Who can join

The community is open to members from FE and skills and HE organisations with an interest in XR, including educators, digital managers, learning technologists and IT staff, library/LRC staff and research.
