Research and innovation strategy forum
We convene the research and innovation strategy forum to advise on our strategic direction and priorities.

Facilitated by Jisc

The forum works in support of research and innovation, aligned with our 2030 strategy and four areas of focus.

The forum is jointly chaired by Professor Maria Delgado, Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London, and Professor Nick Brook, Manchester Metropolitan University.

Membership brings together pro vice-chancellors for research from across the UK, reflecting the perspectives of senior leaders and researchers in research-performing organisations.

The forum supports us by:

  • Advising on the current position and future direction of research and innovation
  • Bringing the views and user needs of senior leaders and researchers on research practice, support and policy to inform our priorities and stakeholder engagement
  • Advising on the scope of our activity in support of research, ensuring we take a joined-up view across the breadth of work and its impact for the sector
