About

Join us for an interactive workshop where you'll learn about Octopus' recent integration with the UK government's areas of research interest (ARI) database.

This session will introduce you to the new feature, explaining how it will be used in practice to connect researchers with government departments. We’ll start with a brief overview of Octopus, followed by a deep dive into working with ARIs.

You’ll be guided through the publication process, focusing on how to link your research with government priorities. We'll also demonstrate how Octopus facilitates conversations between government departments and researchers.

There’ll be plenty of time to ask questions and discuss your own work in relation to government ARIs.
