About

Echo360 is committed to breaking down barriers by developing inclusive and accessible products that address the diverse needs of educators and learners. These tools ensure that everyone has equal opportunities to learn, regardless of their location, schedule, or physical and cognitive abilities.

In this webinar, we will be joined by:

  • Professor Simon Lancaster, University of East Anglia: professor of chemistry education, associate dean for learning and teaching and national teaching fellow. Simon's research interests include innovative approaches to enhancing student engagement and conceptual understanding.
  • Dr. Emily Nordmann, University of Glasgow: senior lecturer and deputy director of education specialising in cognitive psychology and the science of learning, with a focus on how students use lecture recordings. Emily's work is particularly concerned with students from widening participation backgrounds and those who identify as disabled and neurodivergent. Emily's talk will discuss how lecture recordings can be used as a minimal form of universal design for learning that can help support a wide-range of students to maintain their engagement with higher education.

Who should attend

This webinar is ideal for any staff responsible for delivering or supporting learning and teaching in higher or further education.
