This event will be held on

  • 04 February 2027

    • Jubilee Conference Centre, University of Nottingham
    • 10:00 – 16:00

This collaborative event brings together colleagues across the sector to explore how institutions can foster sustainable digital cultures that enhance engagement, belonging, and learner success. The University of Nottingham is one of 17 universities piloting the beyond blended framework to move beyond simple distinctions between online and face-to-face teaching and instead focus on the design of engaging, inclusive and purposeful learning experiences.

Drawing on Jisc's digital transformation framework and the University of Nottingham's participation in our beyond blended pilot programme, the event will showcase practical approaches to embedding digital fluency, developing digital pedagogical expertise, and driving sustainable culture change in blended learning design. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own institutional context and the experiences of those universities participating in the Jisc pilot, exchange ideas with peers and consider how blended learning can support strategic priorities for digital fluency, student success and educational transformation.
