Role
I head a wide ranging team that works across often “knotty” issues in digital scholarship and collections, preservation, metadata, open access monographs and institution as publisher, typically within the humanities and social sciences. We work with libraries, archives, vendors, publishers and the cultural sector by convening networks, exploring new ideas, developing new knowledge, and supporting knowledge sharing and collaborations to enable digital transformation.
Background
I was head of product at Jisc for the content and discovery team ensuring a balanced portfolio and the adoption of product lifecycle management approaches. Before that, I worked as programme manager on Jisc’s flagship national digitisation programmes. I studied at the University of Bologna and Queen Mary, University of London.
