I am responsible for areas of work that address how to effectively find resources that are relevant to learning, teaching and research. The resources in question may be analogue or digital and the challenge is not only to effectively provide ways of discovering those resources through the use of online services, but also to ensure that they remain discoverable and sustainable over time.

The services I am currently responsible for are library hub and Archives Hub. I work closely with sector representatives and strategic partner organisations to ensure that UK universities and colleges have effective access to the information that they need.

Before taking on the discovery role in 2014, I led Jisc's digital preservation programme for seven years and also led on the EC-funded 4C project looking at the costs of digital curation.

Prior to working at Jisc I worked in the HE sector for 15 years, mainly working in the area of digital humanities and art history/IT.
