Vision for change is a workshop that brings your organisation’s senior managers and leadership teams together to work on innovative approaches to strategic planning.
Sometimes, these are people who won’t have worked with each other much – if at all – and putting them together to think about key issues can build relationships, bring fresh thinking to the fore and open up new possibilities. It improves mutual understanding and communication, builds consensus and empowers staff to take ownership of the processes of change.
Facilitated by our consultancy team, a vision for change workshop enables participants to:
Share a clear understanding of the strategic goals
Identify barriers to success
Explore options for change
Vision for change helps you achieve the buy-in of key staff so you can deliver change on time and within the resources you have available.
Jisc’s support powerfully combines independent, up to date subject knowledge with facilitation expertise and experience.
How does it work?
This is a facilitated workshop which takes you through several stages of group discussion and negotiation.
First, we will help you define and articulate your goals, then we will guide you through an exploration of the issues and challenges your organisation currently faces. This will help you visualise your current position and define areas for consideration. Then, we will support the group by capturing and sharing ideas, and helping to identify and develop possible solutions.
By bringing staff together to take a shared ownership of the process, we foster continued engagement with the proposed changes.
Outcomes from the workshop will include building blocks such as SMART objectives with clear ownership, staff networks and team goals to help you plan, implement and consolidate your changes. The workshop takes into account organisational and cultural context and practices, ensuring that it fits your purpose.
