How we're providing value by saving you time and money.
£392m of value, savings and efficiencies to the UK higher and further education sectors through the use of our services in 2016-17
These savings are achieved through direct cost savings, cost avoidance (time savings) and the value of services of which the costs would be prohibitive if Jisc did not provide them.
The figures below shows a breakdown of the value, savings and efficiencies across our headline services and a sector-level figure for other services used (where value, savings and efficiencies are calculated).
Our headline services account for 95% of the value, savings and efficiencies realised by our members.

Total value, savings and efficiencies for UK higher and further education 2016-17 - £392m
We are constantly working on adding value, savings and efficiencies for other services so the total figure is likely to increase over the year.
We only calculate value, savings and efficiencies for a service where it can be reliably evidenced and backed-up.

Reducing our own costs
We've been making our own efficiency gains in recent years. We have achieved net annual savings of £8.9m in real terms over the past two years by operating more efficiently with further savings in the pipeline.
