Paul has been Jisc's chief executive since October 2015.
Chief operating officer and deputy chief executive
Alice leads a team developing our strategy in key areas such as research, learning and teaching, further education and international, and our strategic planning and management reporting processes. She also ensures the excellence and cost-effectiveness of our professional support services.
Executive director digital resources
Keith oversees our digital content and discovery related people, organisations, strategy, services and operations. He works to ensure our digital ‘content and discovery’ capabilities and expertise lead to cost-effective, innovative and long-lived benefits for UK research and education.
Executive director, Janet, chief technology officer, Jisc technologies
Bob has oversight of the Janet Network, ensuring that it remains fit for purpose and relevant to those that use it to conduct their business and to provide services over it. As CTO for Jisc technologies, Bob also maintains a similar oversight of the wider range of technologies and infrastructure we deploy to provide our infrastructure services.
Executive director marketing and communications
Robert ensures we deliver a cohesive customer experience strategy and organisational approach – reflecting a deep and sustained understanding of our customers’ needs. He ensures this focus informs and drives all of our operational and strategic priorities – steadily moving Jisc from a ‘product’ organisation to a ‘solution’ organisation.
Executive director Jisc technologies
Tim is responsible for bringing together our digital technology related people, organisations, strategy, services and operations. He ensures our digital IT capabilities and expertise are applied cost-effectively and imaginatively – making a real and sustained difference to research and education in the UK.
Group chief technology officer
Steve provides strategic, technical leadership and vision to our technology staff, across networking, digital information resources, innovation and internal IT. He will ensure that our group IT strategy provides a coherent direction and vision across the group, and stimulates enhanced levels of innovation for the benefit of members and customers.
Chief innovation officer
Phil leads and continuously develops our world-class futures team: a group of experts with the capacity to identify, shape and exploit opportunities for new, digitally enabled, ways of working. As with all of Jisc, the focus of their activity is creating the greatest benefit for the sectors we serve. A well-integrated team, sharing expertise and resources across the organisation.
Executive director membership engagement and sales
Jon is responsible for our membership engagement and sales. This includes the relationships with all further education, higher education, alternative providers and related associations and stakeholders as well as enterprise customers. Jon ensures both member and customer satisfaction and retains the valuable income to keep Jisc sustainable.
Chief financial officer
Mark oversees our financial activities to ensure we deliver excellence and cost-effectiveness in our professional support services; especially those concerned with financial and commercial matters.
