"At Jisc, our mission is to improve lives through the digital transformation of education and research. Sustainability is embedded in our values – from reducing our environmental footprint to creating social value and fostering a culture grounded in ethics and inclusivity.

As a leader in digital innovation, we are acutely aware of the environmental impact of our operations, including data centres, networks, supply chains and emerging technologies such as AI. We are equally committed to driving sustainability through the solutions we deliver to our members and partners.

This report brings together our progress across the SDGs over the past year and includes detailed reporting of our greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions for the period 1 August 2024 to 31 July 2025, in line with the Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) requirements.”
