    About the clinic

To complement our AI literacy webinar series, we are running a series of monthly practical drop-in clinics.

The idea is that you can simply drop in and ask questions specifically related to our AI literacy webinar series and apply the knowledge from the sessions.

We will be running the drop-in clinics at the start of each month. The session will be live online.

    Questions may include:

    • Where do I start with AI?
    • What specific tasks can I accomplish with generative AI in education?
    • What do I need to be aware of when using AI?
    • How can I use AI responsibly?
    • How do I summarise PDFs using Microsoft Copilot?
    • Can I combine two PowerPoints into one using generative AI?

    What we cover

The clinic is discussion-based and relies on participation, you will get answers based on the content delivered in the AI literacy webinar series and how to utilise it in education either during the session or through follow-up from the team.

    During the session you can:

    • Learn how to use AI tools
    • Explore methods to utilise generative AI
    • Share your AI literacy journey

    Who should attend?

    Further information

We also run two AI community groups if you are interested where you have the opportunity to share your own ideas and experiences of AI in education and connect with other community members.

The session will be led by Paddy Shepperd, our senior AI specialist, part of our AI team and with further input from other colleagues in our artificial intelligence team.

This is also a session for discussion and ideas sharing as AI is such a divisive and emerging area where there are not necessarily clear solutions or consensus yet.
