Security Conference 2024 programme released

The programme for this year’s Security Conference is now live.

Packed with sessions for IT professionals leading their organisations’ cyber defences, Security Conference 2024 will drive the sector into the next era of defence.

Our programme features a range of session formats designed to explore the latest security technologies, innovations, insights and threat intelligence. As such, attendance is strongly encouraged for all Jisc member and customer organisations to bolster sector-wide resilience against the latest and most sophisticated attacks.

Key highlights from the programme so far include:

  • A security strategic update from our director of security David Batho
  • Living and surviving a cyber-attack presented by City of Portsmouth College
  • Jisc’s cyber escape room, putting your skills to the test to hack devices, crack passwords, and decipher codes
  • A look back at significant DDoS attacks across Janet, the lessons learnt and the changes made so far
  • Looking at what’s ahead for the new 2025 question set in a cyber essentials training clinic
