I work on projects associated with publishing such as the Institution as eTextbook Publisher, or those where a commercial background could bring a useful perspective.
I am very interested in the open access movement and the rise of digital information exchange generally, such as the impact of blogs on how we share knowledge in the future.
I joined Jisc Collections in November 2014 with a background in academic publishing spanning books and journals.
I've worked for Routledge, John Wiley and Continuum where I was academic publishing director, and most recently the Higher Education Academy as head of journals.
My expertise is particularly in teaching and learning, having published learning resources commercially and worked as a university lecturer recently myself.
