My role is to communicate Jisc’s activities and to demonstrate the relevance and benefits of its work. I develop, manage and deliver communication strategies and advise Jisc staff members on how to best communicate their projects.
Together we communicate in a variety of ways: via the media, conferences and exhibitions, podcasts, blogs, web pages, animations and e-publications.
My remit is the communication of Jisc’s work predominantly within further education and skills.
I work Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
From working in a large corporate environment, through to working in a small business and also a charity, I have broad marketing experience which I draw upon within my role as marketing manager at Jisc.
