Susan Anderton

Service manager (Historical Texts and Journal Archives)

As the service manager for Historical Texts and Journal Archives, I’m responsible for service operations, planning and reporting.

I manage the operational team and help to ensure the services are developed in line with the needs of our community.

I have a background in IT support and previously at Mimas I co-ordinated the operational plan and supported a range of services and projects.

I joined the Jisc Historic Books (now Historical Texts) and Journal Archives project team in 2010, at the start of their transition from proof of concepts into services. More recently, I’ve been involved in their redevelopment onto new platforms in 2014-15.

I’m particularly interested in improving service delivery as well as using Agile project management to develop services.

I hold the BCS foundation in Agile, PRINCE2 practitioner and ISTQB-BCS foundation certificate in software testing certifications.
