I'm an associate innovation developer working on Jisc's intelligent campus project. This project focuses on gathering data and using IoT technology to improve student's and staff's experience on campus and improve utilisation of Institutions' spaces.
I am a recent graduate from the University of Bristol, where I gained a master of science in computer science with distinction. Somewhat interestingly for a developer, my first degree was in nursing!
During my master's, I undertook some interesting modules, one of which saw myself and teammates develop an educational game to teach young people how to program.
My final project consisted of investigating the impact of robotic errors in human-robot interaction, in which I got the opportunity to programme a real-life robot! This study will be published in the next issue of Interaction Studies, if you are interested in robotics.
