I am leading on the architecture and development of Jisc's intelligent campus research project.
This exciting IoT project aims to pull together as much data as possible from HE and FE buildings and outside spaces and combine that data with learning analytics to see if we can improve student experience and help institutions manage their space.
I am a software engineer with a wide range of experience. Most recently I was building innovative map-based tools for visualising sensor data and helping users navigate city spaces via online kiosks. Before that I helped users access resources at OpenAthens.
I have also built and advised on digital preservation systems at the British Library and the Bodleian Library, worked on open archives at UKOLN, built smart ticketing systems for buses and developed library systems and offered IT support at the University of Bristol. I have been busy!
