I work within the Jorum technical team, developing the DSpace repository to ensure the public-facing interface is working as it should.
I am also involved in adding new and improved features to the repository to enhance the user experience, as well as listening to the community’s requirements.
I graduated from Salford University in 2001 with a degree in information technology. Since then, I’ve worked both in higher education and the commercial sector, primarily developing PHP-driven websites.
I spent four years at Salford developing for the open and distance learning team. As an advocate for open source software, I’m particularly pleased to be involved with the Jorum project.
