I provide operational support to digital resources directorate colleagues who deliver broad range of services and projects that support teaching, learning and research in higher education and further education settings, including EU projects.
My duties are within the remit of finance and contracts and cover the entire project lifecycle. I provide advice from the initial inquiries regarding funding opportunities and policies, assist with the budget costings through to proposal submission.
I coordinate contracts preparation process across Jisc departments and partners, provide finance reports on the ongoing budgetary status, monitor income and expenditure ensuring the fulfilment of a contract. In time for project closure, I prepare the final expenditure statement.
I previously worked at the University of Manchester which I have joined from the Law University of Lithuania and European Social Fund Agency.
In my previous roles I was overseeing EU projects at the funding agency and was responsible for finance monitoring and reporting processes and contractual arrangements for funding grants and contracts at the universities and Jisc. As a change from my operational projects support role, I took an exciting opportunity to work with the Hairdressing Training service team at Jisc and contribute towards the curriculum and digital resources review and service re-launch in 2016.
