The primary focus of my role is to own the relationship between Jisc and a portfolio of member FE and HE institutions in order to ensure value and return on investment in membership services subscribed to are fulfilled.
It involves maximising opportunities and growing Jisc's business through strategic management of the account, full and thorough engagement and relationship building with the member and identifying opportunities to promote new and existing products across the broad Jisc portfolio by adopting a consultative approach.
I have come from a background that includes lecturing within the FE and HE sector as well as developing many leadership and management programmes for organisations to help develop the talents within the organisations and the talent of tomorrow, enabling teaching and learning to be a rich and full experience for all involved, as well as inclusive, engaging and interactive.
Throughout my career, I have developed my confidence in engaging with people of all levels and have been able to develop my consultative and negotiation skills, as well as client relationship management and ability to work to not just deadlines but also income targets and lead a team of people of successfully.
In the past I have been responsible for the quality of teaching and learning practice, ensuring that teaching is engaging and interactive for students, through the use of technology, blended learning approaches and up to date relevant content, as well as implementing strategic account planning to enable a sustainable relationship with clients to be developed and maintained.
