As collaboration services manager, I'm responsible for leading and developing two popular Jisc services: JiscMail (the national academic mailing list service) and online surveys (an online survey creation and analysis tool).
I oversee and support all day to day business as usual activities, ensuring all related advice, support and service requests are fulfilled to the highest levels of satisfaction.
I work closely with development and delivery teams: sharing information, overseeing and organising the feature development pipeline, supporting and empowering staff, and maintaining service performance. I provide input into service strategy, planning and development activities, report and chair the service governance group and work across all directorates to share and promote the service.
I have been part of Jisc since 2001; working for Jisc Netskills, a former Jisc advisory service based at Newcastle University, where I was responsible for event scheduling and management, financial reporting, and delivering training using Blackboard Collaborate.
I was part of the team to successfully move JiscMail back into Jisc (since 2012) and transition online surveys (formerly BOS) from University of Bristol into Jisc (2017), and I continue to be part of their success.
I hold an ITIL foundation certificate and a BTEC certificate in training design and delivery.
