Communications and user research (digital resources)

I support product development and portfolio management within the Jisc digital resources directorate. Acting as a link between the product and portfolio management team and services and projects, I provide research and analysis to promote understanding of the needs of our user communities, and to support the portfolio review process.

I began my career in libraries, working in academic liaison for many years before joining Jisc. During this time, I developed a strong interest in digital and information literacy and worked alongside students and staff to help them access and make the most of the resources open to them. I remain a strong supporter of libraries, and their valuable role in facilitating access to quality information and evidence.

I’m also an experienced market/social researcher and hold the Advanced Certificate in Market and Social Research practice from the Market Research Society, and an MSc in Sociological Research.
