I write content for our website, including catalogue pages and news items. Additionally, I work with Jisc in support of communications activities to ensure we have a consistent and engaging tone of voice.
I began pursuing a career in libraries and archives after completing my MSc in librarianship, starting with an archive project at HarperCollins publishers.
After moving to London, I worked in various roles across public and higher education libraries, including King's College London and the Royal College of Defence Studies (part of the UK Ministry of Defence).
Eventually, I made the move into digital publishing and media, which began with a media manager role at ITV. I later became the web content manager at Pottermore (the official site of J.K. Rowling, where I'd previously contributed as a freelance writer), then worked as a content writer at King Games - best known for the Candy Crush series. From here, I moved on to my current role as a digital content writer for Jisc.
