I work within library analytics services in the digital resources directorate. I mainly work on the Journal Usage Statistics Portal (JUSP), a service that gathers journal and book usage statistics from a number of publishers on behalf of institutions, but I am also involved in IRUS-UK, for institutional repository usage.
A central aim of my role is to enable users to be make the most of library analytics services, and so my role focuses on user support, community engagement, promotion and evaluation. I liaise with libraries, gather user feedback and analyse alongside service usage data to make recommendations that ensure the service develops in response to user requirements. I also have responsibility for providing user training and support materials.
I joined Jisc in January 2016 having previously worked in higher education libraries for nine years. I have worked in a variety of library roles, but most recently in journals and e-resources management which remains my main area of interest.
