I am leading on improvements to our business processes to ensure they are efficient, effective, adaptable and support the delivery of the Jisc corporate strategy.
I am also working on helping to guide our open science developments – such as the transition of the open research hub into service.
I have around 30 years of experience in developing and delivering high quality research data services to the UK academic community.
From 2007 to 2014 I was director of Mimas, which was a Jisc and ESRC supported national data centre based at the University of Manchester, providing a range of data and information services to support research and education. In 2014, Mimas was transferred into Jisc. From May 2015 until July 2019, I was the executive director for digital resources.
